Music Class at the Rec Center

Nicholas is enrolled in a music class for 1-5 year olds at the local rec center.  It is 8 weeks at 11:45am on Sunday mornings. He loves it! They play with parachutes, balls, ribbon streamers, rhythm sticks and stuffed monkeys. Nicholas is a great listener in a group setting and loves to help clean up! (he even sings the song, every time!) It is a great way to burn up some energy on these cold winter weekends!

New Year's Eve & Random Acts of Cuteness

Welcome to 2013!

Mommy, Daddy and Nicholas spent New Year's Eve with friends at Audrey, Jesse and Laurel's house. The little ones ate, played and fought and then either went home or went to sleep while the parents stayed up and partied! Well, drank and played Rock Band, Taboo and darts - so partied like the 30-something parents we are, I suppose! We rang in the new year with cheers and shouts and guess who popped up in his pack n' play ready to bang on pots and pans? Nicholas! So we indulged him a bit and brought him out to crash the adult fun. He was bopping away in his little sleep sack, amazed at all the fun that was being had while he slept! We quickly bundled him up and headed home, before he got too comfy in adult-land. Luckily, he fell fast asleep very easily in his own crib.
