Our twin baby girls were born via c-section on June 11, 2014. We are very excited to welcome them to the family and happy they arrived full term and healthy! Nicholas was especially excited to meet them and to see mommy's tummy "go back down". He proclaimed it had gotten TOO big! Mommy agreed. Both girls were breach, hence the c-section, and arrived just 10 days before their due date. I think they were quite comfy in there and probably would've stayed longer if I and the doctors let them!
Here are the opening stats:
Baby A = Francesca Madeline Busso
7 pounds, 12 ounces
19.75" long
Born at 8:06am
Baby B = Julianna Carmela Busso
6 pounds, 9 ounces
19.5" long
Born at 8:07am

Photos of the Nursery
Grandma and Grandpa Busso treated us and the girls to brand new beautiful nursery furniture - complete with two cribs! We love the set and wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa. Since the walls were already a nice slate blue/gray, we went with a nautical beachy theme with pops of pink, orange and coral, but not too girly. Mommy made some of the decor (framed the boat scene fabric, painted the starfish and seashell signs, added the pendant bunting to the curtain and lamp, made the rope framed mirror, and painted the house shelves white), but the rest of the wall art and crib bedding came from Etsy artisans.
