The Story of Suzanne & Frank: Nicholas Update!

Nicholas will be one month old tomorrow on Easter Sunday. He is doing great and totally takes after mom in terms of his appetite! He weighed in at 9 pounds at his two week check-up and after weighing him at home, we think he might be approaching 10 pounds these days. He is sleeping soundly for up to three hours at a stretch, sometimes in the bassinet, sometimes with mom and dad. Nicholas has been introduced to the pacifier and seems to like it from time to time, which gives mom a much needed break! We just had a great 10 day visit from Nonnie, cousin Natalia and Auntie Colleen. It was a bit wild having a four-year old around, but Nicholas and Natalia loved each other and she got us all out of the house and to various parks, the zoo, cafes and play dates with cousin Alexander and Anna! It was also good for mom to learn how to travel about with a constantly hungry babe. Nicholas gets cuter every day and mom and dad are slowly learning to adjust to his schedule, or lack thereof. Now....on to the photos!

We took Nicholas to see the Easter bunny with cousin Alexander and cousin Natalia - though little Nicholas was the only one brave enough to actually sit on the bunny's lap!

Baby Nicholas was also brave enough to sit on Natalia's lap. She is so great with him! She sat as still as a statue and after we snapped many many photos she looked up and said "ok can you take him back now please?" Nicholas misses you, Natalia!

Natalia and Alexander became fast friends and romped through the mall, hand in hand.

We also took Nicholas and Alexander for a joint photo shoot! Look at these handsome guys!

Nicholas slept through part of the photo shoot, but he was still super cute! And yes, that is a smile in the photo on the right...could be a sign he is so happy to be our baby, or just some gas.
