We took an amazing trip to Disney World with Nonnie and Natalia in November of 2013. We did it all - character meals, shows, rides and more! We stayed at the All-Star Movies resort and spent jam-packed days at Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and, of course, the Magic Kingdom. Nicholas was such a trooper as we skipped his nap every single day (for four days straight!) and kept him up late! He was in awe of everything and probably a little young for the trip as some of the rides scared him a bit. You don't realize it until you're seeing it through the eyes of a 2-yr-old, but at Disney, even the calm, happy rides take place in a darkened area with loud music- that's part of the experience! He enjoyed the outdoor toddler friendly rides the most - Flying Dumbos was a sure favorite! Natalia, being 6, was game for everything - even the roller coasters! With Nonnie's motion sickness and Auntie Sue-Sue being pregnant, Uncle Frank was Natalia's partner in thrills. They even went on Space Mountain! She loved it all - especially the lunch with the Princesses.
We met up with Frank's friend Iris (who works at Disney) and also good friends Melinda and Kent. It was great to see them all and Natalia latched right on like she had known them her whole life - little social butterfly. We hope to go back when the next round of Smith-Bussos are about 2, they get in for free until 3 yrs old!
Oh and we booked the trip through an agency owned by Frank's elementary school friend - Michael Cohen, Travel With Magic. We highly recommend using him - find him on Facebook.
